I think that’s got to be a wrap job, pretty much every MR2 of the era has been resprayed or wrapped because the paint just fades.
is that why the toyota logo on the back is the same red
it’s painted red on mine too. It’s possible it is a paint job, but I was quoted for like $7000 for a total professional paint job on mine (not Maaco)
weeeeell, the ACO is showing its WWW-Prowess once again, by live streaming the 24H recap of the LM 24H 2023
while the 2023 Spa 24H are taking place,

Sometimes I feel like it would be exciting to have a 1-day insight into what the ACO is thinking, but then that’s in the same vein of having a 1 day trial of being waterboarded, shot, being Trump or being killed by birds that are prying out your guts from your body (Hi Prometheus, Alien was better kthxbye), or being a Ubisoft Online Account Software-Stack Manager.
OK, rather take ACO Insight than Ubisoft job, agreed ![]()
Interesting write-up on the story of a semi-rogue illegitimate second Isdera Commendatore built by a single guy sometime in the 2010s(?).
Brought to my attention after someone spotted it driving around in Germany and posted on Reddit.

Woah, that is a proper unicorn … didn’t know that a rogue one does exist!
That numberplate is from the Stuttgart region, hmmm ![]()
BeamNG.drive sounds like the name of malware

Blomby car returns
Just askin’ for a friend of mine, absolutely not for me, you know:

is that… a thing now in car culture over there in the US of As?
I have seen itasha cars in front of every anime or comic convention I’ve attended since about 2010, but I have never seen one like on the road or in a parking lot.
i kind of thought american itasha have always existed, just that they’re covered with paranoiac/aggressive political statements to other drivers
I’ve seen a few in Seattle.
Meanwhile, Lambo takes its task of stepping up where Audi has failed… quite seriously:
among agressive front fender designs, this LMDh seems to turn the dial up a notch… Lambo vs Ferrari in 2025? ![]()

only could afford to get the 88bhp 1.8L 8Valve edizione of the Xantia (so it was lacking the anti-roll-button, the aircon, the V6, no cruise control), but it had a sunroof (which is ESSENTIAL, how could one NOT spec such a car w/ it
) and i loved driving it. The C5 (Mark III) i’m still driving has the final version of that sweet V6 (upgraded to 211bhp), and was the last model to have the hydropneumatic suspension — in any respect the better car, but I have a soft spot for the Xantia and its hatchback design… what a beauty ![]()
Stealth edit:
If you have too much $$$ to spare, get it, corner like a madman.
Yes, seriously mad.
It’ll be the only chance you have at obliterating GT3 911s, Lamborghinis and Mc Larens. With a crappy french sedan that costs as much as a single tire of the likes youre wiping the floor with.
Super Stealth Edit:
Re C5 Mk.III: what. WHAT. there exists at least another example on this planet! ![]()
Same color, same trim level (no pre-installed SatNav), same engine
— only thing missing are the optional/nicer 18" rims, and it would be a copy-cat to my 130k mile barge.
