Also I’ve been working on learning racing vocab to get myself to the point where I can maybe talk about some of the techniques I’ve actually learned in sim racing properly.

I suggest reading Bob Bondurant on High-Performance Driving
It lays out techniques in a really simple way.
Its just a good book and you feel the enthusiasm for the activity dripping off the page.

that’s some wild angles in that Sterling commercial (also think i saw the 308 headlights pop down in one place, even if they tried to avoid those shots to keep the sleek Silhouette looking elegant throughout the ad)

ever since the xbox lan I have tried to find a racing game that uses system link and split screen, and I found one: Nascar Heat 2002. Now I’m obsessed with doing a 32 player endurance race in someone’s basement using a bunch of networked xboxes.
