Love how they go ‘Rally’ and instantly show a Formula 1 look-alike with balloons as wheels, setting the right athmo from the start of the trailer, that’s a clever move to keep the focus on what matters, the track editor, for the rest of the trailer.

SOME front end damage

It has been a long-running joke that the lead developer of Assetto Corsa abandoned us all to toil away on his vaporware boat sim. Well boys, here we are, today on the day where Stefano’s Boat Sim is real.
That has actually piqued my interest … thing is, will it work with my Logitech wheel? ![]()
In other news, time to say goodbye to the Audi TT
while we can hail the Peugeot 205 being 40 years old now (jeeesus!)

Still proud that my first car was a 205, even if it was equipped with a french-laissez-faire Automatic box, has been slightly crashed by my mum and had some niggles with lesser quality fuel (which otoh taught me how to shift into neutral, keeping revs above 1000 rpm while coming to a stop). Learned how to use driving dynamics during daily commute and how to do emergency braking w/o ABS, and how much worn out connecting rods in the suspension can influence driving behaviour. And it also kept me save in my first near-miss accident, so kudos to the little rascal, aye.
Paging @isfet
oh wow that’s neat. i’ve been too busy to get super into projects like this with the Flipper, so it’s mostly been a “fucking with T____s” device
this new track looks pretty! but it’s not grand valley even if the layout is similar. all people want are some classic tracks man. both pleased AND disappointed somehow.
is polyphony just bored of their old tracks? are they too cool to make new versions?
might be cute to have cars emoji at me though, that’d better be part of the mode.
I need to dust off the PS4 and GT7, I still haven’t completed the campaign, which is what got me to disengage in the first place. Hell I am thinkin of grabbing a copy of GT3 and giving that a whirl instead. but a Citroen DS? and a Grand Valley-like? hmmm
GT3 would probably be an overall more enjoyable experience. The tech behind GT7 is really impressive, but the progression and general design is just miserable. even sport did this better. track choices are really bland if you have a thing for more of the memorable tracks of past GTs.
every few months i pick up the game for an hour or so to drive a favorite car but find myself getting bored quickly. at least i can take some nice pictures on this new track.
anyway, back to enthusia on my ps2 for now
Grand Valley Highway looks pretty cool.
I look forward to this driving this excellent content in Assetto one day.
In GT Sport I remember doing a ridiculous custom race where I let the game run for 8 hours and it gave me basically enough XP to max my level just so I could actually drive the Nurburgring, and when I did I was driving pretty much daily. If they just unlocked that track from the start I would play it more!
okay, i took a quick lap around the highway this morning and it’s really nice work. GT7 has really needed tracks like this.
does it feel like grand valley? to me, it’s a very distant connection. it’s a good addition to the game though. i got to drive pacific coast highway 1 a few years ago and it captures the mood and details perfectly.
peep that mountain cow just chillin on that hill
they put fuckin BURGS on the table
some of the sea lions hobble around with the jankiest 4 frame animation i’ve ever seen, i love it
the typographer in me really appreciates that all the fonts are accurate to US highway style guides
???
