I’m pulling for one pitch I saw that said this cat should also evolve into a wrestler and be the Face to Incineroar’s Heel.
Not surprising, I guess.
Sid Meier is too much of a coward to talk shit about my horse daughters to my face
serious, non-snarky thing: gamers are bad at being mad at or about a thing and also not engaging in said thing
everyone is mad about P2W and microtransactions but no one stops putting money into the grinder
I think that’s the actual defining trait of self identifying as a gamer: no principles
I contributed to that 79% by purchasing all the new stages in R-Type Final 2, and I will continue to purchase them as long as they keep making them.
And what will the Elden Ring DLC look like?
Ah, so that’s the 1gig update that RTF2 got recently. What are these stages, classic ones reinvented, or completely new ones?
On the surface, they are all conversions of old stages. But they take a lot of liberties with some of them. The first stage of R-Type 1 is quite different, and they have one that’s loosely based on an R-Type Tactics 2 stage.
That said, Granzella has also announced a future free update that they are calling “R-Type Final 3.”
SHES RIGHT
Tifa is so much more than the one in the short skirt though
The fact that he instantly digresses into explaining the difference between Aeris vs Aerith to someone who has never heard of the game is peak gamer stuff.
But I had no idea people still used the phrase “sexy little thing” in real life.
Robert Pattinson is British???
Why isn’t this a scene between Batman and Catwoman in their new movie
Another way to phrase this is, “traditional boxed-price games are <30% of the market”
a bruce wayne that grew up in the 90s only played games on pc, and it was all stuff aimed at adult office workers like myst and flight simulator
I almost feel a little bad sometimes having played 500 hours of Guilty Gear Strive by now, and I only paid them $75. Knowing the reason they have no real monetization path is their idealism in having not even a whiff of pay-to-win
premium games: high ARPU, low DAU
sell your friends to bend the curve
Ironically it’s a fantastic multiplayer game that most of my friends would probably rather poke a fork in their eye than play with me at this point. Competitive genres tend to gel into a small number of players who play a ridiculous amount.
The obvious way to monetize is to provide more cosmetics. I gather Mobas do that (as well as expanding the population via social ties more effectively thanks to teamwork). But since GGS has all these detailed pre-baked animations, they only sell a palette swap pack for $10
robert pattinson: i can’t choose between the madonna and the whore in ff7
