Using one of the most boring songs of all time by one of the most bland artists of all time in your JRPG trailer is pretty ballsy, I guess, but I’d still rather not be subjected to the aural equivalent of petrified dog shit.

“My Way” is a terrible song though and I hate it. it’s just like this boastful ode to smug chauvinism. but it’s also like… pitch perfect for this lmao. “ballsy” isn’t the word I’d use but it is p funny imo.
personally I’d have picked this version of this sinatra song but that’s why they don’t pay me to score trailers I guess
