I had to do a double-take reading this because 2.6m is a fucking piss-shake splash of capital to sell out for. I guess it’s all setting the table for hitting the App Store and making that Real $$$; as of right now, it reads like signing over your soul for a Tercel.

I recognize a lot of the writers from stints on Retronauts so could carbon date half of them, particularly the Yoshi’s Island Blurb. Like all those N64 kids think Sega fans like Vectorman, and that the Genesis has somehow somehow been cutoff from them their whole lives. Then that transitioned into playing Splinter Cell on Xbox-Gears-PS3 for MGS4 then Uncharted.
I am hooting and howlering reading the blurbs. If I wanted a list I agreed with I’d write it.

My experience with working backwards through the Destiny 2 expansions when it first became free-to-play is that it was way too easy. It seems that it is now way too hard instead.
I think I might’ve actually preferred it this way, sounds like fun

The new/returning player experience for Destiny 2 since the seasonal model really became integral to the game has been absolutely atrocious over time and I really hope they make it less shit soon

Perfectly scaled to its ambitions, self-contained, fresh, vs. bloated, unclear what it wants to do, desperate to please. Portal 2 can be very entertaining but it can’t stand on its own legs.
