I am! I actually just wondered if that might be the case, it was a few hours ago while I was playing and someone in GOD.HAND killed one.
I love that for any group past 1 it doesn’t even tell you the person killed a shardbearer too. It just says “Someone in the 2 group”. SOMEONE IN THE 2 GROUP WHAT. TELL MEEEEEEE

Last night my husband and I were howling laughing when we discovered a magic dung beetle, the kind that has items, that just became BIG mid encounter for no reason. Started normal, scared the shit out of me by quadrupling in size suddenly for no reason, didn’t behave any differently. Just became embiggened all of a sudden. I loved it

Btw @skelephone (I think) said before that humans felt like they were microorganisms around the huge erdtree ecosystem, probiding them with power.
But to me humans feel more to me like they are erdtree’s cattle.
In those undergroud dungeons full or roots, there’s all those human bodies that look like they are behing absobed by said roots. Just feels like the roots are eating them.
But what @skelephone said rings true to me to a point because the erdtree isn’t killing them directly. Just prividing humans with power so they can kill themselves more… cause that’s what humans do.
Also all that mythos about “returning to the erdtree” really feels like ignorant people explaining that it rains cause the gods will it. They see the fact that the roots are “eating” the human corpses and explain it as the natural way “good” way of their god.

actually wish this game had less Content to trip over and were more desolate feeling. maybe have checkpoints further apart and make travel taxing in some way (consumes resources, chance of hostile weather conditions, weakness due to over-exposure). i think i’d find more beauty in the scale of things if i weren’t constantly drawn to small goodies around the place and had to focus on a destination

I haven’t tried half of the spirits I’ve found. The Marionette Soldiers and Albinaurics are fun, and there’s one called Soldjars of Fortune, which is at least the most memorable name in the game so far, but I’m definitely satisfied with this one.
Edit: Obviously mimics are good for tanking, damage, and applying statuses, but they can also watch YouTube for you and teach you the meta. Mine just wiped out a minor boss and its minions with the Hoarfrost Stomp, so I’m all about that now.
