well, morgot and godfrey were total pushovers, good evidence that I maybe hadn’t fought a mandatory boss in a long time, and I continue to appreciate how they kept the main path from feeling too brutal
also it ruled that the shackle still worked against him

The amount of double boss fights in this game tho… I see what need it fulfills but I don’t like it.
Yesterday I ran into a double boss fight that was some fucking miserable bullshit so I stood outside the fog door and just spammed Rock Sling until one of them was dead
I will feel no shame for using this exploit, that fight fucking sucked
I hate how unfair double boss fights can sometimes be, but they do end up dynamic and forcing you to think on your feet even when you know their attacks. They punish just mindlessly doing fixed reactions when almost every single-character boss rewards that (thought only comes in to figure out what exactly the reactions should be)
You literally say you don’t know what I mean, then insult me? Classy.
god i ran into the crystalians fight yesterday and after like five straight minutes of flawlessly chain backstabbing both of them i just fucked off. they can keep the 21k runes I dropled I’m not gonna spend that long trying to fight a double boss solo when I can only do 20 damage per hit. i know the whole deal about crystalians is that they gradually regain defense but it just felt so tedious
I just encountered a room with 3 crystalians in it 
I slammed my head against the trio for far longer than I want to admit. It was the first bit of the game that I thought was legit shit. It was also the first time I searched for help and I found fuckin’ nothin’ cuz I guess not many people had gotten to that dungeon yet.
So eventually I gave up and fucked off and came back an hour later after buying the Night Maiden’s Mist spell. That killed them all in like 20 seconds.
I love that spell so much, it makes the game to drop to like 15fps for me, makes it feel like EDF, makes it feel like I’m cheezing the game so hard it’s breaking, God bless the mist.
I love the combat in this game
so sick of this dumb 30 minute rennala fight with its obnoxious runback and the 30 people who think it’s clever to cover the lever in messages. thank god I killed her as I died on my first attempt and it didn’t count
if you aren’t enjoying any of the big bosses it’s trivially easy to get ally summons for them right now by using a fingercalling remedy, the servers are extremely camped out

To avoid the lever annoyance, I was doing the old trick where I step on the lift button as I run out of it, assuming I’ll probably fail this attempt too
