Booted up my save from March 2022. Not only do I not remember how to play, I donāt even recognize my character. This person has a great shield, a katana, and some kind of plague spell.

I went through my first new ādungeonā last night (Belurat Gaol) and itās such a well-designed area. The color of the lighting, the way they slowly reveal the gross monsters, the platforming parts that arenāt really difficult but make you nervous, etc.

they made being a boxer viable again. I think Iām too invested in the swinging an airplane wing around life 200 hours in to switch now though and I used most of my respec items slightly tweaking my stats

You click the left stick to crouch and the right button to dash and thatās the opposite of the last two videogames I played.

I can dodge all her attacks but the orb bath kills my mimic and then I canāt get the last four hits off

The golden hippopotamus combines a lot of animals, but Iām not sure what part of it is actually from a hippopotamus. Some of the teeth, maybe? It was a pain to fight but Iām glad this game has that sort of variety.
I also like the furry turtles. Donāt remember whether they were in the base game.

Anyway that fight took me an hour longer than I thought I felt like (which is to say it probably took a little over an hour) but I thought it was an overall decent way to reengage the muscleā¦ the scaling from having summons is very noticeable so youāre inclined to play around with that, she has some initially imposing unblockable attacks that are pretty easy to dodgeā¦ most of her moveset is only barely punishableā¦ not sure I feel like straining too much harder than that but Iād call it a good start
