elden ring is so good and i think about it almost daily, despite still not having the energy to finish off fire giant
what i really want is a photo mode, especially something that allows you to finely tune time of day and weather. or just an option to have the game at maximum sunlight all the time

i think itâs a good title because the tree is glowing. how are you gonna get shadows? please no spoilers if it stops glowing, i am very slow.

i donât think this is a spoiler, because the game never flat out tells it to you, but this youtuber makes a convincing argument:
edit: actually it opens with a massive spoiler
but there are a few clues that indicate that if you donât have grace, you perceive the erdtree as more of an erdstump

I had a friend ask me if they should play Elden Ring because they enjoyed Breath of the Wild. I told them, for me, Breath of the Wild is a 7/10 videogame I still think about sometimes while Elden Ring is a 10/10 videogame I havenât thought about since I finished it.
Could be a bad take, but itâs what I gave them.

I think about elden ring all the time, specifically I think, âis my character going to be overleveled for the dlc because I donât want to go through the entire thing starting from zero againâ

The preorder for the first Elden Ring art book volume has dropped from 50 something USD to 35, in case anyone might be interested.
Second volume will be released the same day (in July) but is still listed at pretty much full retail price.

Defeated Malenia without Mimic Tear, ranged magic or buffs. That it took me a fortnight meant I had more-or-less mastered her Phase 1 unscathed (before flailing wildly when she starts to Bloom)
The friction of her Waterfowl Dance is the True Dark Souls, and while not truly RNG it remains- for me personally- the most nerve-killing intimidation act I can conceive of for any of these games
