I’m actually kinda surprised sony has decided they are no longer the token indie game console company. guess that mantle just gets shoved around to whoever feels like they have something to prove?

I’m excited about shadow of the colossus remaster remaster though. I don’t have a ps3 so that’s nice. wish they did ico too. give me nier, square

I own four PS4 games and when I bought the thing I was pretty sure that number wasn’t ever going to go up. nothing has changed about that opinion in the last 8-ish months. sotc doesn’t count ok

I still haven’t upgraded to a new gen console, so watching the conference has been a weird sort of schadenfreude: I’m happy that I don’t see much that I want to play, because then I don’t have to want it.

I legit would buy Final Fantasy XV just to be able to buy the DLC for the VR fishing game…but who is ever going to own a PS VR for me to buy a decade from now?

Monster Hunter with grappling hooks could very well work for me. Lost Planet 2 was a shooter with grappling hooks and a Monster Hunter sensibility towards gear in some respects, and Lost Planet 2 is some other universe’s first awkward installment into a Call of Duty sized franchise. On the other hand, MonHun likes to really ramp up the difficulty and gear checks past the point where I can comfortably play.

Kinda disspointed about spider-man having AAA combat but at least it has stage gimmicks. I was hoping they would channel ps2 era platformer combat from Ratchet and Clank. At least the swinging looks solid if not completely scripted.

Monster Hunter World was the Peak of the Show for me. Now I feel sorry for Dauntless now that capcom is possibly bringing its A game to modern systems and PC.

whatever sucker punch is working on really cannot be going well

but I am a bit disappointed that they couldn’t throw a trailer together for armored core

there’s still plenty of good stuff scheduled for this year but a grand total of one pickup at E3 isn’t super

the only way this e3 would make me legitimately blown away and happy is if they port Nier 2 to Switch
