Speaking of that I have to be concerned about server size because of who I am as a person as we upload more and more images (especially in dead axe threads.)

what if web servers automatically recompressed and downsampled images over and over and over, based on age and popularity, digitally degrading into incomprehensibility at the same rate as our memories of and fondness for them

horrified to learn that when i use the “Copy Image” feature in my browser, it’s actually just pasting raw bitmap data into the reply editor
which Discourse then re-encodes based on (?) guessing the file type, meaning that i can end up sending a JPEG of lower quality than the one i started with, at up to 4x the size

i can’t un-blood potion posts on my phone? is that a thing for anyone else
it works, but the graphic doesn’t change back until you reload the page. it’s really annoying

I’m sure this is probably a Feature but hitting Control-F brings up the site’s search function and overrides my browser’s ability to search for text on a page.
If that’s a check box that be un-ticked yours truly would be in favor but I dunno how other people feel about it.

bloodpotion behaviour seems weird lately, like a few times i’ve given them and it’s not there the next time i check, and sometimes i get re-notified of existing ones with multiple names listed on the message, which i’ve never seen before
