I just watched the trailer for ad astra now and I am down for it but it might just be because I am always down for a Brad Pitt joint because secretly I wish I was Brad Pitt.

Is Pitt a dad in this movie or is Tommy Lee Jones the only space dad? How deep does the space dad fractal go? Why couldn’t Bill Cosby have done a series of “___ Dad” movies after Ghost Dad (Space Dad, Wolf Dad, Robot Dad etc.) and also not have been a serial rapist?

Easily the best parts of the movie, yeah. The whole idea of what if we were Superman to some other planet hasn’t been explored much.

Look I know this is months later buuuut…

Carter came first and he was an influence Superman! Especially since originally in the comics, super man could just, well, jump really high and was really strong and really fast.

So it’s more like Superman is John Carter for earth.

And a socialist and not a confederate soldier.
