Hellstar Remina is one of my favorites. Uzumaki is the best one, though.
I’d recommend some of the various short story collections over Tomie.

of the viz short comic collections my favourite is Shiver, which has both The Hanging Balloons and The Long Dream. it also has Greased which is memorable in a very different way.
i was never as big on Tomie but the later weird ones with multiple Tomies are good if you need incentive to keep continuing

today i read dc x sonic #1 and godzilla vs fantastic four
dc x sonic is, as predicted, way better than it really should be. just really fun superheroic adventure for kids.
godzilla vs fantastic four is all about the spectacle of cosmically-empowered godzilla and ghidorah having a big battle in new york. unfortunately, it’s drawn by john romita jr., which not only deflates that spectacle into stupid-looking lizards falling on each other, but it might very well be the worst art i’ve ever seen in a godzilla comic.

i don’t get the joke about his dick having so many kinks in it as it became flaccid, was it a belief at the time that jerking off too much made them stretched out like that (“probably hand made”)? the past really is a foreign country
