OK so just vote here if you want to be assigned a team or teams in the Select Button World Cup Sweeps Stakes. Picks will be random and done using whatever website I come across that seems like the least hassle.
This is for the world cup of soccer/football. It starts today. I don’t know when I’ll enter names into the sweep’s stakes. Whenever it feels like we have enough. I don’t think any teams are eliminated for awhile anyway. I should have done this earlier but I’ve been busy. Don’t ask what I’ve been doing. It’s none of your business.
You don’t have to watch the games or care about football. You just click and, maybe, one of the teams you’re assigned wins the cup and you win a prize. The prize of knowing you’re a winner.

I am posting this in its own thread and not the proper thread cuz I bet a lot of folks ignore sports threads but will click on a thread offering prizes. Actually all this talk about prizes reminds me that I do have a few of these cards lying around. If you win I will send you one in the mail if you want. It looks very nice even though it cost me like 20 cents.
See from the front it looks so real and cool but the back does not look like an actual Magic card and that’s how you know it’s real art/hopefully avoid getting sued. You can still use the card to play a game because you will probably put it in a sleeve to protect it while shuffling/tapping/flinging. Magic is cool cuz pirating it is so easy. Anyway this could be yours if you enter the sweep’s.
There are 48 teams! We currently have 14 participants…could we hit 28 before kickoff (23 minutes away) so we each get 2 teams?? PROBABLY NOT but let’s try!!

Paraguay was one of my favorite teams to watch a few years back. Uruguay too, but I’m happy with Portugal, and let’s see what Ghana can do. But I have no idea how team selection for World Cup works, and if past performance means anything going forward.
Ghana game 2 is against England so I’m hoping for some bloodshed.
