I think she just likes being at risk of falling off shit at this point
usually when I get up before daphny zaku will gently tap me on the thigh so I know she wants me to put her in my lap so I can scratch her cheeks and rub my knuckles hard against them (she loves this so much!!)
then of course shes an idiot and she gets so into it that she just falls off my lap onto the floor because she has to sit precariously no matter what (she will adjust herself to be positioned precariously again if i move her!!!) and gets annoyed at me for trying to catch her

Training her to understand it’s okay and she doesn’t need to be scared of being picked up like this. She loves being held, but hates being picked up and feeling out of control. But I think we’re making progress : )
my poor cat has developed some kind of kitty cold. her energy and personality and routines are normal, but she has this crazy gross stuffy nose. it’s been a bunch of days and I guess it’s better in the day, but it’s always worst at night. poor thing. we had a vet appointment scheduled yesterday, but they canceled on us. she is an indoor cat, and we never see other cats, so I was hoping we could learn something about what this is and maybe how on earth she could have possibly contracted it.
Watched Caught Stealing last night and I am once again looking at cats for adoption in my area.
