I realise that I have only been posting Disney cartoons lately, but Cartoon Network stopped doing new shows that are not for pre school kids after the Discovery and Max merger, that are not for Adult Swim or Toonami.

And then you have Nickelodeon, they cancel anything before it can get their groove for not doing Spongebob, The Loud House, The Fairly Oddparents, etc. numbers. They did Harvey Beaks and Welcome to the Wayne real dirty.

I enjoyed Moon Girl. I hear the writers were hoping to tell a full character arc for Lunella and her family in the span of three seasons. They only have two to work with. They probably pulled the Jentry Chau and Pantheon move that crams a full season in the second half of the last season they could animate.

But it is a fun show. Not since Class of 3000, a cartoon has captured my interest in afro music. Lots of hip hop, r&b, jazz, soul, and funk songs in the sound track. I like how almost every episode has a mini music video that showcases inventive animation and battle scenes in sync. I will miss her friends and her enemies. The comic does not work the same as the show.

god that looks absolutely darling

Not much that I can say about this one. It is an episodic comedy with occasional continuity. It and StuGo feel like early '10s Cartoon Network more than '20s Disney. That is not bad at all. Just shows how the two channels have been changing after the streaming age. I am not always into what Disney green lighted, but they are taking more risks than the ones in Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. I enjoyed Kiff, you might, too. Its character designs take you some time to get used to, but they grow with you. Their comedy is not mindblowing, but the cast have got enough to make up for their writing.

Have you watched Big City Greens? It took me a while to warm up to it and to Kiff but I really enjoy both now. Lots of great gags, the characters all bounce off each other in fun ways. Solid children’s entertainment. My mom hates them both, ringing endorsement

I did, but I could not get into the jokes or the character designs. It is just not my thing.

I’ve gotten really into Dragon Ball Z Kai.
I’ve watched up to episode 98.

Now I’m wondering if I should keep going by watching Dragon Ball Z Kai The Final Chapters, or go back to the original Dragon Ball to see more Goku.

For someone like me who was curious about Dragon Ball Z, but thought it might be kind of boring, having this abridged version is very appealing. Dragon Ball Z Kai even with The Final Chapters episodes is about half as long as the original while supposedly staying closer to the manga. I would say some of the fights go on a bit long, but I was expecting that going in, and overall the pace is really good.
