glad theyā€™re giving this another shot. i didnā€™t really have much personal interest in the original show but it felt like total reinvention was the smart thing to do with the characters rather than just more of the same. i admire it even for just choosing to make each of the turtles physically distinguishable from one another beyond having different color clothes

I kind of was against it at first because the art style reminded me a lot of JamesHarveyTM at a time when he was working hard on burning bridges to videogame fan land but the show grew on me and sometimes I wonder if JamesHarveyTM has mellowed and if heā€™s happier to have left this place behind the way a few others did on their way to superstardom

Yā€™know, I really really thought that part of why this was CGI was to make it easier to feature the hard-edged high detail art style of the comic and thisā€¦Neero DMC meets Sol Badguy look is really not what I was hoping for.

I know itā€™s just an ad but putting the spaceship backstory stuff right up front really kills how cool that revelation was late in the game in the original series. I guess they just expect everyone who sees this to have seen the original already

the Rem Saverem stuff isnā€™t late, itā€™s only halfway through (that happens IIRC right after the train stuff with BRILLANT DYNAMITES NEON)(no donā€™t ask me why I remember this off the top of my head even though I havenā€™t watched the show in ages)

Iā€™m guessing between the showā€™s subtitle and a lack of Meryl and Milly and the Sinister Six that itā€™s all about ā€œhow did Vash get that dumb nicknameā€ so itā€™s all pre-original show/comic plot

I coulda swore there was already a season 2 of Primal, we need to get back to the world where if you take off for a year to make new episodes then that is a new season.

I was convinced of the same thing so looked it up and that was just the second half of the first season?
