eerily remincient of season five of adventure time, though I think that was because of a contract that said bonuses if you get a sixth season so they just made season five last forever

that was a UK/EU release, Discotek is a US company
I canât say what masters they used but Discotek found the negative in the same stash that they found the lost A-ko negative so itâs probably the newest existing scan of the film. apparently the story is they found it and asked to scan and clean it up and the licensor agreed on the condiition that Kawajiri could supervise and they said âuhh, sure!â
the new season of dicktown was a lot of fun. something about the tone really works for me. like on paper itâs just encyclopedia brown venture bros but itâs one of the few shows on tv that actually feels like the modern south and itâs just fun meat and potatoes tv. i feel like thereâs still some of that chaotic/realistic energy from reesâ get your war on stuff. itâs a bit âtrying to be topicalâ but honestly it just adds to the sense of place. the move away from high school cases was a smart one!

I was looking forward to Captain Lazerhawk, which was basically some sort of Captain-N-at-Ubi, by the studio that made Crisis Jung (NSFW). I wonder if thatâs still a thing. Also the Cyberpunk anime, on which thereâs basically been no news at all.

It seems like Netflixâs strategy for dealing with losing subscribers is to lose more subscribers:
Cancel a bunch of shows.
Announce that they intend to crack down on password sharing starting next year.
