our hero watched the entirety of bleach in solidarity with a friend who wanted to watch thousand year blood war!! what a fucking name for an anime, holy shit!! the friend is still in the soul society arc, about 30 episodes in! reffi has been ātaken for a rideā here!!
donāt make his mistake!! bleach is so boring - even with a guide to avoid fillers - it might kill you!! holy shit thousand year blood war is fire tho. maybe read a synopsis of the first series. maybe justā¦ glance over the synopsis. even that might be too boring. crazy how good soul society arc is before it spends the next 300 episodes doing absolutely nothing. well, except being swag. it is a very swag show, Iāll give it that. you kind of justā¦ watch it stand there, and admire it, while its loosely adorned clothes blow (in a poorly animated way) in the breeze. nice.
(there are actually a lot of thoughts here that may get expounded on at some point, watching an Entire Shounen was inspiring in a really strange way)

people are mean to the protag and he gets a bad weapon draw so he decides to lean into being a bad boy and purchases a child slave. we see heās actually a Good Dude though when heā¦ feeds her food she likes?? itās also implied heās going to fuck her eventually which is fine because a bartender alludes to āthose beast girls age real fastā. one dude is made out to be a jerk later because he frees her from her slave bonds to Secretly Good Boy Shield Man against her will. I mean, I guess he couldāve at least asked first, right??

That arc ended in a pretty big twist. Ironically, the newest arc is putting the characters back into their daily lives and it feels a bit like the first episodes again. Part of why I started watching was so that I could have an answer to āwhoās your favorite Pretty Guardian?ā" Iām leaning Jupiter.
