We have 76 names in the doc! 28 people have voted in the poll! I’m just gonna guess that means we have 80 players! Why not!! We could have more though – I want as many names as I can get!! Current plan is to start at the end of next week! That means there’s still time to join a ball club! And they’re great ball clubs! With great logos! I’ll show them off once they’re all ready! Which will hopefully be soon! SIGN UP FOR BASEBALL, IT’S GONNA BE GREAT.

Over the last 3 days I’ve rewatched Ken Burns’ Baseball for the nth time and as a result I promise we will not be playing/singing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” or “The Star Spangled Banner” during the Select Button Koshien.
“Danny Boy” and “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling” are up in the air though, depends on if my baseball avatar ever hits a home run or gets struck out I guess, think ball playing brings out my Irish side

Hello friends please check out a rough draft of one of the teams that will enter the Select Button Koshien for a chance to play in the Real World Series: The Ottawa Oddballs! Their mascot is a ball with legs! But no arms. I was going to draw some but then I was like “This is fine, I don’t want to do anymore work, you don’t need arms to be a mascot, a mascot should leave the batting and fielding to the players.” And that’s why the Ottawa Oddball doesn’t have any arms.
