they both bit the Zynga/Facebook train in a way a lot of older designers did and weren’t able to pull into interesting and respectable stuff until recently (outside of their academic work)

the Epic Store’s free games have been like 80%+ stuff I wasn’t going to seek out but am actually interested in playing, I’m glad they’re only doing this for a year because the hit rate for OK distractions for me is ridiculous high
