look I play wow and I know more about warcraft lore than I would care to admit, and I’m pretty sure Lunara is a not a real character
she’s more or less not (though there is this). neither is sgt. hammer. johanna is basically made up too. i think others? can’t recall
the influx of terrible players is mitigated by a few things
a) i only really play hero league, which dabblers won’t be able to take part in for a good minute
b) all the damn heroes are free
yeah but at least hammer and the diablo characters are semi-real in that they are units/characters from those games given personalities. warcraft has literally thousands of actual characters to pick from.

i might be more upset about it if i gave a shit about blizzard lore, but she’s absurdly fun to play so it balances out for me
if any of y’all feel like playing nowish, i’m on and open to playing with people new to the game

I wouldn’t worry too much because
- it’s quick match lol
- even QM has MMR
You missed out man, KT used to be a mobile death machine. Especially the older chain bomb builds (whoops I got one shot because I was standing too close to a wave of minions with chain bomb)
I should play HL again but then I have to care and I somehow only just barely qualify by owning 14 heroes. At least none of those will ever be banned baring some hilarious buffs (or: I’ll never get to play Butcher in seriousface games)

I did play her actually. that was the game where I was dumpstering people but we lost anyway. I did like 25k more damage than anyone else but they were so tanky and they had a healer and I was a mega stand back and poke build so I couldn’t get in and kill the healer. we threw trying to kill the big dude on the diablo map for some reason 
did I mention that I don’t know anything about how any of the maps work
Most fun hero hands-down is Greymane. And then Li Ming.
I play this game too much and probably have a pretty skewed view of what’s fun, but I’d say Sonya, Falstad, and Jaina are on the list. Kerrigan is super fun, but takes a bit to get used to and needs a pretty specific team comp to shine.
Murky sounds like a joke answer, but isn’t.
