Well that was The Game Awards 2025. It was a pleasure posting with you, ladies and gentlemen.
Major highlights for me were the Ace Combat 8 reveal and the Fractional game.
New Nu Tomb Raiders are a maybe. Will need to see some more footage. TR1 remake looked okay. Catalyst was just a cutscene though.

this is the best dressed year I’ve seen of this show. Only a few G-Raw Jeans and 35 dollar blazers that were on clearance.

that was kind of especially empty and depressing for me - feels like even token attempts to represent something i might care about are gone and Expedition 33 serves as the new model for what the powers that be want “indie games” to look like. guess there were a few trailers of games i might be interested in or whatever. but this year has had so many things i do care about at least somewhat come out which makes it more egregious.

people are already calling Highguard, the big “final reveal”, as the next Concord. I think they probably paid extra to be last, which is really funny.
