Redd finally, finally came back to my island, and my freshman art history class finally, finally paid off, as I was able to ID the legit painting almost immediately.
I think my bad lewd visual gag acted as an ancient Greek knise to summon Redd back to the island.

I got Fauna in my town and just made a deer decoration to give to her and further cement the games’ unspoken subjugation of non-anthropomorphic creatures to their talking and walking counterparts. I have Flurry and…I swear she already had a hamster cage in her room by default…

Yeah! My friend just told me about this. Pretty sure I’m a day or two of chatting from getting these. Definitely gonna use some of them here and there.
I’ve got all of Sable’s patterns so now when I talk to her she only counts down to the weekend (but then works all weekend) and misses her dead mother. Cheerful!
