You get bonus points the more items from a particular “set” you have out. Probably a lot of that stuff was from some kind of “outside stuff” set

The game makes a big deal about you being present for your villagers when they depart, but, uhhh, 5 AM rolled around and Plucky just vanished from my island? I mean, she sucked so whatever, but everyone was guilt tripping me into making sure I saw her off and she just Irish Goodbye’d on me.

No problem at all. I wasn’t around for most of the night anyhow, so no thing. We can meet up whenever and then you can mail things as you get them.

Thank god I am not the only one. I have been building roads and trying to line everything up and ahhhh. I have had to delete a bridge anda ramp so far to make this work.
I’m eventually gonna be doing the same thing. I am not looking forward to all the juggling and back-and-forth movement I expect it to take to get everything in perfect place, but it will all be worth it (I think).
finding the multiplayer possibilities interesting, without logic gates like minecraft or mario maker or something people are doing all kinds of parlor games.
musical chairs with a music player, hide and seek, tag, scavenger hunts with real and fake buried items, different uses for the 1-8 wheel, physical mazes with the landscaping tools
will be curious to see what parts of this nintendo embraces if any

i made my fat stacks purely by takin turnip profits and reinvesting for more turnips. Even if you only manage to sell for like 15 or 20 more bells than you bought for, if you bought 10,000 turnips then that’s 150,000-200,000 in profit

I’m really excited to host big gatherings once my island is all set up, I’m keeping a big area open to be decorated for things like fashion runways, art shows, and backyard wrestling

that there are 3 different morning, afternoon and night diy recipes in the villagers houses
that when they are itchy you have to use your net to catch a flea off of their body

I just figured out the flea thing this morning. Felt like a high risk gamble hitting my favorite neighbor with my net, but it paid off.

Are there specific times for the diy change?
I had to ask @jsnlv about the flea thing yesterday since Jacques had them but it wouldn’t let me give him meds. There is so much I wouldn’t know about this game if it wasn’t for him and his hours of experience playing them.

for me there is usually one in the morning, one after 12pm, and one after 6-7 pm maybe?

One subtle tip I noticed: When crafting, if you tap the A button, it speeds up the crafting animation.
