"an aggressive waste of time" (ffxv)

Now I’m just waiting for a Final Fantasy-fied take on Dead Souls.

i read that as dark souls and my eyes glazed over for a second imagining a nomura-driven souls

Nomura lights the source code for the second part on fire.

10’s ending is fine, much more interesting than 6’s {And Then Upon Our Heroes’ Victory the World’s Order was Restored} finale, but I think I might be the only one here - unless 21012 corrects me - who doesn’t hate that game.

yeah, I guess X’s ending is fine, I do detest it though

pretty sure i don’t hate x nowadays

X is fine. Honestly the only truly bad FFs are XI and XIII

Oh and IX

X devolved into incoherence like an hour in to be fair.

Its one of the most highly nonsensical of the series

it’s miserable nonsense. the ps1 games are at least all bombastic

i still hate x because i hated tidus and his dumb monologues

20 hours in and i am surprisingly more endeared to the 15 cast than i thought i’d be

this game is also surprisingly scratching my monster hunter itch

Looking at this chart again reminds me again of why FF12 is the best.

Anyway, I’m going to shut up now about music and What About the Other Final Fantasys (-ies?) so that people who are actually playing 15 can talk about why it’s actually good.

some of these battle themes are actually pretty great

-doesn’t mention II
-got a IX jab in so it’s ok

I had lots of fun with II. It had really interesting mechanics

how many monster closets tho?

As I understand it, a “monster closet” refers to an infinitely spawning source of enemies as in older first-person-shooters, or like, Gauntlet, so I’m not sure how that applies to FFII?

In FFII empty room with an unavoidable unencounter, is how I meant it

Heck I’m real sorry

It’s been a while, so my memory of the game isn’t super sharp. I plan on replaying it one of these days soon though.

i’ve never been so insulted in my life

No way lots of people here like X, which is literally inconceivable to me.
