Ever since HOBO posted about that ZX Spectrum Batman remake I’ve been in the mood for colorful isometric games. Please help me find the most lush and beautiful isometric games. Of course if you want to post dark and gloomy ones, like Diablo, that’s fine too. You can even post more screenshots of the games I already posted because they’re so good.

I nominate BATMAN for ZX SPECTRUM and it better be accepted because I might die if one of my Bat-submissions is rejected once again.
And yes I have played it recently. The game has been binned to my Windows taskbar for over 3 years now. This game is important to me and should be important to humanity as well because it is beautiful.

I love the levels in this game. I love the floating islands, I love how everything is bustling with detail and ornaments, I love the themes. I don’t really like playing it, but that’s not the important part.
I love the designs for the main characters. The woman is named “Jane Peril”! Hmm…

Earthbound is pretty isometric. I like how every road only goes horizontally or diagonally and never vertically
Also memorable how the angle changes in Fourside, making the game feel both more and less isometric

now that i take a closer look at crystal castles it doesn’t look quite isometric but maybe that’s a trick of this level geometry

Fourside is the only isometric area of the game, the other areas are rendered with cavalier oblique projection
