hey joe
where you going with those knives on your hand
I’ve got one of those 4 inch Batman figures from Spin Master. Saw him on a store shelf a year or two ago and got him on a whim. Just the basic Batman Rebirth figure with the grey and black suit. He’s great. Has a little cloth cape that tapers from the bottom and narrows as it reaches the anchor points at the neck. The capes on all these figures have holes punched in the back under the neck so the peg hole for accessories in the figures back is still usable with the cape.
And the articulation is outstanding too. The shoulders, elbows, and knees have ratcheting joints so they hold their position no matter what. The hips have a swivel and ball peg thing at the crotch. They’re good and stiff too. All the articulation is stiff even after having the figure and regularly messing with it for the last year or two.
Anyway I decided to get a Superman and some of the other figures in that line and started looking at what other figures where available and saw they made a Batcave play set that’s nearly 3 feet tall and folds up into a giant Batman.
Glad to see the tradition of play sets still going.
Apparently they also make these figures in a 12 inch scale with the same articulation and everything. I’m a big fan of the smaller ones though.
The besuited Joker in that line is looking really close to the ancient Kenner Super Powers one
He sure does! I got a purple one coming but might get a black one later.
I like the videos they made.
oh no
holy shit
please tell me the kitty got down from the shelf safely- i need to know
Foot Soldier Tommy and Raphael Red Action Figures. I’m not sure why this wasn’t a thing back in like, 1993 when it would’ve destroyed toy stores.

too much of the teenage mutant ninja nose candy.
After a terrible experience with BBTS, which may just be because of the state of shipping currently, I ended up getting the GSC items I was looking for direct from the source. Even cost the same.
As much as I like the KB Toys energy of BBTS, where they have more stuff than either you or they know about, they just aren’t a great place to buy things.
who makes the nicest scaled down lambo countach, i could live with one of those on a shelf somewhere
where are these mighty max images from?
also, the toy cars i had as a kid were mainly from a brand called “majorette”, which i never see anyone talk about
I just googled mighty max skull dungeon and thumbnail was one of the results.
dope box art:
hot wheel modellista
(kind of want the skyline and the corvette)
Over here was one of those exotic things that would should up at toy shows from time to time, along with all the UK Dinky and Corgi licensed Bond cars and whatnot.
I’m not sure if being close to Canada is a factor for where I’m at but it seems like my Canadian great aunts used to have the European hook up for toys for my dad way back when.
for some reason, a discount supermarket had mighty max sets on sale really cheap, so i ended up with a ton of them (the same place where i got the series 1 spawn figures i mentioned way earlier in this thread)
here’s the ones i had that i can find decent pictures of:

plus a bunch of smaller ones that just had max plus one enemy inside. it’s a shame that these kind of things aren’t really around anymore (unless they are and i just don’t know about it).
