IIRC this game has natural, built-in speedrunning because you get like an Unique Milk Card at the beginning of the game and you have to hand it over to another guy 10 hours in for a sidequest before it turns into a Cheese Card or something
Hope we get some 3x battle speed option in there because these were some of the slowest battles in all of JRPGs

nintendo bringing back the $100 pair of vouchers in the us for their first $70 game is p clever, and definitely the best way to pick up the game, but i’m not sure if i’m gonna find another game i wanna pick up with the other voucher

it is! not by too much though, dependiing on whether we count a link between worlds. if we’re just counting the big console releases, skyward sword released in november of 2011 and breath of the wild in march 2017. so i guess 6 years and 2 months versus 5 years and 3 months.
i only looked this up because i was bored.
my wife has been anxiously awaiting this game since she played through botw the first time in early 2021. she has since played botw twice through and is on her fourth playthrough. only 3d zelda she’s ever gotten into. was really glad to see the release date is still on. i’m worried for her though. i have hopes that botw2 is good, but she’s not used to the zelda disappointment cycle like i am.
