I knew several people who died very young whose computers I would love to explore to find their unreleased art/game projects, and I assume no one will ever recover anything. But I don’t know their families at all since they were strictly Internet friends so I can’t really inquire myself. I’ve thought about trying, though.

tbh I don’t think about my own death much at all, but I have considered putting a thing in my will that requests the src directory on my computer get pushed to a public repo to avoid this kind of scenario

not that anyone would realistically care about anything I didn’t think was good enough to release but you never know

I watched the Protector with ym kid on his 12th birthday, and he was completely on board with all of this happening to get back the dude’s elephant. Movie rules.

I think this moment was when he went from “huh” to “hell yeah”

somehow seeing this with the streets of rage soundtrack really drives home the way tony jaa movies use belt scroller physics. it’s so clear even in that gif… jumping attacks deal the most splash damage/knockdowns. it’s great. he should do a movie where he eats a whole rotisserie chicken out of the garbage

The Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office has arrested Yuji Naka (57), a game creator, today in connection with an insider trading case involving development information for the new work of the popular “Dragon Quest.”

According to the special investigation unit, the suspect was an employee of the game company Square Enix (Square Enix), which was jointly developed by Square Enix and the online game production company Aiming in late January 2020. In addition, it is said that he learned important information about “Dragon Quest Tact”.

The suspect is said to have bought about 10,000 shares of “Aiming” for about 2.8 million yen before the information was announced. The suspect was arrested for insider trading under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act.

In this case, Taisuke Sasaki (38), a former employee of Square Enix, and Fumiaki Suzuki (40), an acquaintance, were arrested yesterday on suspicion of insider trading. It is said that the two purchased about 162,000 shares of Aiming for about 47.2 million yen.

All three of them are believed to have bought shares in Aiming, thinking that if information on “Dragon Quest Tact” was announced, the share price of Aiming would rise. It is not clear if the three had sold out their shares.
