if Sega was serious, they would translate and bring over Star Horse to American casinos and I can enjoy the very nice chairs while I try to pull SSR Seabiscuit
“New” is a stretch for most of those.
Currently the only game on my upcoming games list is Eitr (no release date).
The once-announced Night Slashers remake (remake? hopefully just a port or whatever you call an emulated thing, if necessary) would be on there, but that was a tiny article a year ago and I’m not sure if it’s still happening.
(I know, I know, Night Slashers is already on Switch. Darn Switch. The “Johnny Turbo’s Arcade” version may be slightly blurry, anyway?)
Edit: Oh and there’s an apparently quite bad version on Steam.
And I finally finished Riven this year lol
Oh well, I’m still most hype for that of any remake.
i think the joke is that they’re all remakes/rereleases
will riven be the first remake i… like? can it happen? only time will tell
you’re missing horizon zero dawn
(also there are rumors now that bluepoint is remaking the original MGS)
this slate makes ps4 era publishing look like a renaissance good lord
it was! as I pointed out at the time!
this is one of the documents you find around the midpoint of a survival horror game
Honestly it was.
The full flowering of the western indie and small studio space and transition to the edge of the mainstream, the revival of Japanese studios after they’d spent the better part of a decade in production hell, the first and most fruitful of the nostalgia revivals through Kickstarter and other funding means, and even some great use of open-world structure to revive some newer and older franchises.
I think it was more vital than it had been since 2003/4 when the PS2 era started calcifying and the high PC wave of Far Cry, Doom 3, and Half-Life 2 exhausted the PC as a unique prestige platform.
Niche gaming website selectbutton gives itself pumpkin themed makeover for October 31st
maybe it was renaissance. maybe.
but i’ll say it: gaming in the PS4 generation just felt less epic.
I want Skyrim
Blah I can’t even tell if it’s a joke anymore.
surprising bc ps4 gen seemed like a low point outside of miyazaki and kojima stuff to me. are bloodborne + death stranding Survival Horror Canon as an aside maybe they should be
fly on the wall at SEGA boardroom meeting reports back to Studio:
Super Game mind map session:
Super Persona 5
Super Total War
Super New Genesis
Super Sonic The Hedgehog
…
you know, if we had some RPG IP of some sorts, or an idea how to transform a jump’n’run character into a racing franchise, that would have helped, but Super Total War Sounds Like It Will Be a Hit, doesn’t it?
So what’s up for lunch today?
looking forward to super football manager and super not theme hospital, too.
here’s something odd:
AaAHHHHhhhh!!
we’re back baby
