It didn’t click until just now, but it fucking sucks that you can play Stadia in Safari on iOS devices and Edge on Xbox but you can’t play it on non-Chrome browsers on the desktop when there’s clearly no technical reason why
I’m very curious to see how this runs on Switch.
So I just watched this video of the R-Type Final 2 demo on Switch:
Looks like it runs… ok. But every time the player takes a single hit there’s a loading screen before they restart from the checkpoint

This may be the most boring shooter I’ve ever seen. Are they playing on easy or something??
I was about to type ‘this is twice as long as it takes to get to the first boss in R-Type with 1/4 the action’ and then this video got to the first boss, which is the same one from R-Type.
Wait not it’s just…its belly button? The ice doesn’t even break? It just shakes a bit and the Chestburster’s Chestburster dies??

There’s something really funny about playing Oblivion in the cloud to me. That game is so broken, I wonder if we can infinite melon glitch and overheat a whole tractor trailer full of servers taking down a bunch of random corporate Azure AD services or whatever.

If this weren’t a joke it could be a cool anthology series where a different director/writer could do a different episode about a different body exploring the tower with each one ending with the character dying, or exploring the world itself/the backstory of some of the enemies in the tower. Let It Die’s world and stuff are a lot more interesting than the gameplay itself. I can’t fucking stand Uncle Death, though, reminds me too much of like, YouTubers/streamers.
