I see Sony is putting their best foot forward as I boot my ps4 and the first icon is for the new season of fortnite which I do not have installed and have never played.

Also the Vita/PS3 stores mysteriously stopped working this week.

I turn off my PS4 completely after playing because my idiot cable modem kills my entire Internet connection every time PS4 rest mode does literally anything over the network, and imagine my surprise when that greeted me following a cold boot

the PS3/Vita thing was announced a few weeks ago and apparently you will still be able to download stuff you have already bought (through their website, i think it said?), but yeah, no longer able to make new purchases.

Speaking of which, I have yet to be able to log into the new PS Network store. It just kicks me back to the main page logged out. I tried every browser I can think of, content blockers on or off, doesnā€™t matter. Everything looks like a successful login but it sends me back to the site logged off.

I even tried logging into Bungie.net with my PlayStation account and that has the same problem. I think my account is cursed? I can log in fine from an actual console though

This happened to me, but I donā€™t remember exactly what fixed it. I think I might have gone one level up to https://www.playstation.com/ and explicitly logged out and back in there.

Also, did you know that the old store is still there if you have a direct link to it? You can still add to your wish list and everything.

(I havenā€™t played the game that this is a link to. I just happened to bookmark it to get back to the old store if I want to later.)

Iā€™m so upset that the reason I havenā€™t been able to log into PS Network on the Web for months is because they werenā€™t able to present a fucking prompt about personalized ads on any other page

I hate the loud and lousy PS4 HW that much, yes, that i have been waiting until this releases to be played ony my HTPC.
