I liked this game. The campaign goes on a bit too long imo. Itās like the only game from that era I wish was a 3 hours, COD campaign style. But still. The multiplayer was also really fun, if not for the peer-to-peer lag.

you have to understand, there is an issue in 11 with some Ryzen systems
the best way I can describe it is the kernel has a mini-stroke
sometimes it powers through
sometimes one side of its face gets paralyzed and whoops, gotta reboot

I installed 11 out of curiosity clean on a separate drive and I was astonished at how unresponsive the UI was even for exclusively using Office 365 apps.
Iām into like, say, having all of the side projects that make 10 better mainstreamed (Windows Terminal, PowerToys, etc.) but it seems like thereās work to do on the KDE shell they found on techpowerup.

my favorite new feature of 11 is that theyāre seemingly getting serious about pushing drivers through Windows Update, but the system would repeatedly download and install the AMD GPU driver without telling me and then that creates conflicts with the AMD control panel, because the drivers installed via Update specifically use the control panel from the Windows store (even though theyāre functionally identical) and then the store can just bug out and not let you install that control panel and you have to run a terminal command to force install it
and while all this is happening, you can just fuckin download and install drivers from the AMD site and start the whole thing over
itās cool that they want to automate this but aptget or pacman this aināt

based on what Iāve seen I couldnāt care less that Iām being left out of Win11 on this old as shit but still extremely usable machine and I will reevaluate when I build something new but I am a little sad that it sounds like the X11 layer they wrote to let WSL2 run GUI apps seamlessly isnāt ever going to ship to stable Win10 at this rate, it was on an Insider build thatās now been superseded by an 11 build
I have never needed this feature and canāt really imagine needing it since the set of exclusive GUI apps that would make a person want to run Linux is virtually nonexistent at this point ā there was some genuinely cool Gtk3 UX but it all got offed in favour of Electron stuff by like 2018 ā though itās very neat, and it wouldāve helped me use WSL2 somewhat more exclusively over minGW, and I do trust those repositories more over time than I do choco/scoop (which continue to work really well for now).

kind of an old trailer but i searched for it and no one on here has talked about this game yet, which is a shame because it looks like a very energized project (i wish they werenāt using pixel art for gameplay but at least its cool grody disgusto pixel art and not just what everyone else is doing)
