Kind of curious what cert will let them get away with on a console for this thing. Will probably just have the whole “edit game files as you play the game to advance” be an in-game fake file browser.

i wonder this too. i know undertale couldnt do all the crashing/shut down stuff on console they just kinda when to a white screen for second before resetting or did glitch effects for a moment instead.

i had no fucking idea that Doki Doki Literature Club is in large part made by Dan Salvato; a person I know via nothing on his twitter bio but instead from him being an utter fucking deity at Yoshi’s Story speedrunning and being the developer of the Melee Universal Controller Fix (and an elite Melee/Project M Link player besides)

If they’re bringing back Garland and stuff then they should’ve made a rogue-like and used time loops to explain why dungeons are randomized and why you lose your levels when you leave, etc.

I don’t know, if you’re going to make something that feels like it’s from 2006 then I’d rather it be something from 2006 that was kind of fun.

pixel remaster series is presumably the first time non-3d ff3 will be released anywhere besides the famicom – i wonder if it’ll be based on that or on the cancelled wonderswan color version. one of my low-key video game "what-if"s
