Zelda: Cries of the Commonwealth

have not played Tears yet (waiting until the mood strikes me to replay Breath lol) but i almost always had the tracker set to items that give max hearts when cooked cuz theyre functionally cheap full heals. like u boil a single radish and bam, instant nectar of heaven

I’ve been replaying TotK again, and I think I’ve boned myself by not hunting down every piece of gear before doing the main quest because I’m in a position where to upgrade the armor it’s asking me to collect monster parts from the low level versions of monsters which don’t spawn anymore.

Like there aren’t any level one or two Captain constructs anymore and the boss bokoblins are all silver boss bokoblins now. Am disappointed.

low level constructs appear in shrines, and there are areas in the game where regular monsters don’t upgrade as you advance in the main plot

How much weapon fusion stuff are you doing? Once I started fusing the right items to my weapons the enemy difficulty stopped being a huge problem.

Just a bone arm fused to another bone arm is like +40 damage.

Oh wait you need low level monsters. Try Maritta Exchange Ruins and camps around Lookout Landing maybe? The Gloom maybe.

Oh! Try using the locator.

More games with crafting materials should have locator radars.

Some of the most fun I had in the game was being 1 hit away from death with terrible armor but also the cost of dying and losing your machine is too dear. Put that in the momentum killing bummer bucket.
