Captured off of 9 master ED Betamax tapes, the purpose of this footage is currently unknown. What we do know is that the videographer had a very high quality camera, a lot of money for tapes (all were recorded in the highest quality BII mode), and the patience & dedication to record Mt. Fuji over the course of nearly an entire year. The videographer not only captures the same angle over the course of the entire year, but also is sure to get various different angles to capture the incredibly varied environment around the mountain. He also makes some diversions to some local parks and towns, all of which were shot with some of the highest quality equipment available. There are even a couple shots from a helicopter!
