this channel is mostly unrelated to this one video, but i was surprised by how nice of an overview this is of the whole fiasco of Beatles UK vs. US albums
the favorite weird niche youtuber of aging indie rock guys just put out a new video for the first time in awhile
Captured off of 9 master ED Betamax tapes, the purpose of this footage is currently unknown. What we do know is that the videographer had a very high quality camera, a lot of money for tapes (all were recorded in the highest quality BII mode), and the patience & dedication to record Mt. Fuji over the course of nearly an entire year. The videographer not only captures the same angle over the course of the entire year, but also is sure to get various different angles to capture the incredibly varied environment around the mountain. He also makes some diversions to some local parks and towns, all of which were shot with some of the highest quality equipment available. There are even a couple shots from a helicopter!
…damn
very interesting video from 3blue1brown showing the python library he uses to make youtube videos:
(not sure if this is the best thread for sharing this, i just think its neat)
wanted to shout out this guy who did a few videos about The Velvet Underground and particularly this video on the album The Who Sell Out that i thought was particularly good but doesn’t have tons of views
This channel posts really nice fixed-camera long-take shots of these beautiful, individual planted aquariums. I think they’re all in Japan? They’re 3 hours long, and I don’t think they loop. The audio is fake? I guess, I just play them on mute.
There’s a bunch on there, and most in both un-cropped and cropped-to-16:9 versions.
Good to just pop on the TV and let run.
It’s like a travel channel that doesn’t travel.
It’s all about exploring the city of Chongqing.
the two hosts Peter (aka Western Toilet) and Emily, talk about their life in Chongqing, and explore the various subway stops, going to different restaurants and parks around the city.
i recreated Mini Motorways using an ESP32, servo and 3D printing
Wow! I’m the art director on Mini Motorways and not only did you nail it, but you did this better than I could have imagined. Awesome work
