for some reason the songs with “girls” or “boys” in the title always ended up the weird ones, you could put together a really disorienting mini anthology of all those. even the ones i thought i was familiar with ended up sounding weird in context (eg the waitresses i know what boys like which sounds like the record that starts playing at the wrong speed in a poltergeist movie)
