was surprised to see this pop up in my youtube recs. i honestly didn’t even know she had any solo albums! (this is apparently her second or third depending on one from 2019 you may or may not count)
also she apparently was on a Kendrick Lamar track a couple years ago

also randomly just got reminded of this obscure psych band that dropped a reissue back in 2009
the vocalist was like 17 when she recorded a few songs with this band and then basically dipped and was never heard from again

dang, Damo Suzuki passed recently RIP have always enjoyed barely/not understanding his words exactly allowing me to imagine…many drugs trips with this one in particular though the most sublime may have been two glasses of Sapporo on the Shinkansen evening->night train from Kyoto->Tokyo watching the countryside go by
