Maybe I ought to check them out I listened to one song of theirs one time and bounced off but this one has really got its hooks in me
seems like they’re going more in the direction weird 00’s emo guitar pop for internet-poisoned kids instead of like a wacky meme version of AG Cook/Sophie style hyperpop with some random hip-hop affectations thrown in which tbh seems like a better direction for them to me

thinking about this more and like… even tho i don’t know anything about Homestuck, i think this the vibe of what OFK or something like it should have been, lol. like the combo of art style and the sensibility of the 100 Gecs song.

never quite understood the unhinged singing of Stevie Nicks but i also find it fascinating. esp when compared to Madonna in this example cuz like Madonna’s voice is so boring
