Your song of the moment (Part 2)

That is fair. I only got into Feed the Animals but i thought it was extremely good for a mashup/remix record. i think anyone who can turn fun “obvious” mashup music into more than a joke is worth my attention i guess the Mouth albums sell a lot to me because theyre both good and openly funny

well let me tell you this, I am shamelessly self-involved. I spend hours in front of the mirror making my hair elegantly disheveled. I worry about how this album will sell, because i believe it will determine the amount of sex i will have in the future

this album is my Welcome to the Black Parade lol. impossible to hate teenage nostalgia. a perfect portrait of how obnoxious teen sleepysmiles was/is

i cant get laid in this town without these pointy fuckin shoes!! my feet are so black & blue, and so are you

it is but the actual song and band seem 100% sincere which makes me like it more. they just really believe in the concept. good for them tbh.

oh yeah i adore it. that song to me is about trying to muster up the strength to keep going even when youre in a very bleak place (which is extra poignant when you learn the lead singer committed suicide). its a theme that really, resonates with me in most of the songs/media i like…

So take that look out of here, it doesn’t fit you
Just cuz it happened doesn’t mean you’ve been discarded
Pull your head off the floor, come up screaming
Cry out for everything you ever might’ve wanted
I thought that pain and truth were things that really mattered, but you cant stay here with every single hope you have shattered

Sorry to ruin this, but the album is called Flood.

It’s cool. I was just super confused by it, or I wouldn’t have said anything. It was one of those “wait, is my brain wrong?” moments where I wondered if this was a Mandela effect thing.
