went to the record store this last sunday to pick through the sidewalk bin, which has interesting shit in it always for $3 a cd. One of them was David Bowie’s “Hours…” which was the album he cut while working on…David Cage’s Omikron. The guy at the desk was like “I was hoping someone would pick this up, this album is underrated”

spotted a cheap copy of The King of Limbs at a nearby record store. It’s always been a personal favorite of mine. Something so bright and still sleepy and thick about the whole thing, like a morning just starting and the cold sun outside. I’m relistening to it to decide if it’s ultimately a record I’d like to go through the process of playing and living with. Because that’s the appeal of a vinyl record to me. I could always just play the mp3s if all I wanted to do was hear a song.
