this era of the flaming lips was very cool. they got really fuzzy and cosmic and, sometimes, kraut rocky. canโt stand them now. but this track is good, but the video sucks (avert your eyes).

i still think about this particular song a lot. the usage of that Hamlet quote weirdly works really well. Concrete Dunes is a weird unsanctioned release that i nonetheless have really strong memories of listening to.

thereโs something about dark0 that Iโve always been incredibly drawn to and I can never quite put my finger on how he gets there but the music is just so cinematic, even when itโs full on in your face hard grime/wave
this EP is definitely filled with more melodic sketches than realized tracks but, like burial, I could just listen to an album full of his melodic sketches because theyโre just so fucking evocative
