this song came up in a dream of mine last night when i was⊠swimming. itâs always interesting when dreams remind me of songs i know that i havenât heard in awhile.

i never really got into the dance versions of a lot of his stuff tbh. i like how languid and dreamlike the cello stuff is. but itâs neat that alternate versions of those songs exist and they are interesting in their own way i suppose.
imo itâs an important part of his aesthetics that there are all these different versions and reworkings and mixes of the songs and theyâre as much a part of their compositional life as the melody and harmonic material or the lyrics or whatever
