I kept stalling out trying to come up with a top 10 because I’d start with mgs2 and sh2 and nothing else was on that tier for me that wasn’t another silent hill or metal gear. so I wanted to come up with a list without them but then most else of what I’ve actually played was rental shovelware trash

I had the problem of continuously thinking “oh I have to put that game of course” and then remembering it was a PSX game. Took a while to get in the “what is a PS2 game” headspace

It really surprises me that no one has mentioned Taiko Drum Master, since it and PaRappa The Rapper 2 are the only PS2 games to be considered part of humanity’s intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO.

Turns out if you install something called Mechapwn with the help of a FreeMcBoot you can make your ps2 region free which is great for me.

I’ve now used the MemCardPro 2 to declare it: PRETTY GOOD. On my US PS2 Slim had barely any hitching. The games that haven’t run are this:

Unlike the cheaper options it works with Gran Turismo 4. I wouldn’t pass full judgment on that because I lose patience and barely finish one race when I boot it up. But on the cheaper ones it just freezes.

Look I’m surprised about this as much as any of you. CoD may be dull but its extreme competence really carries it above the competition.
Did I mention my God of War was from one of the other iso-players and is the censored version where there are still titties everywhere but you can’t have sex and the cyclops have armor to hide their precious eyes and the more gorey kills just cut to black?
