next it was onto meeting our fair lady Triss Merigold and kind of wishing id played the end of the witcher II so I could know what the heck geralt did to ruin his relationship with her so bad

I overreacted to her saying she wanted to go to radovid, or rather I thought I was just establishing a baseline for the conversation by saying “I can’t let you do that”
that this was ultimately wrong is very very good writing and puts my own flaws in relief
guess I just I kind of blithely went through that and didn’t even pay attention
you know, the witcher III has me thinking: if Source Filmmaker Porn is super popular (and from my uhh experience) the folk that make it have gotten pretty good at animation, I wonder if the Next Generation of Videogame Sex Scenes are going to be more like porn or actual bonin and less like two jiggly pieces of wood being pushed against eachother

Those witches are the most Berserk thing tho
oh yeah the Swamp Witches are definitely Berserk Tier for how they’re used. Like that quest is spooky up until the point you get to the tapestry made of human hair they steal from children before eating them alive and then it goes into full on Berserk Nightmare status.

There’s a quest in The Witcher III where you teach a young girl how to swordfight. In the end of the quest, you can kill two guys that threaten her for being a Nilfgaardian - that is part of the army that have displaced their people from most of their homes and land or tell them to leave. Afterwards, Geralt tells her that two people died because of her - and that there’s a reason people hate her people for being a colonizing force.
90% of the responses to the quest are people upset that Geralt didn’t sleep with her.

Hey weird question but has anyone here actually read the Witcher novels
what do they read like
I started one. It’s like half sholck fantasy, half erotic novels. So a good blend.
I have a polish friend who tells me that newer fantasy novels in Poland are all compared against The Witcher novels and author like fantasy novels still are here in the states/England against Tolkien and a couple of his peers so I’d be interested in maybe reading them in their original languages one day.
