Yeah, the zapper is basically the best way to play Ghost Squad.

It’s a shame the Wii never saw a Time Crisis game.
or point blank! I can’t believe they revived point blank for the DS and not the wii
still, the PS3 Time Crisis was hilarious, shipping with two strap-on IR lights for your TV and guncons with teeny-tiny dualshocks built into the handles
This looks great! I want to buy this!
Somehow it’s comforting to know there’s always bullshit you want just somehow out of your price range.
eBay sez it’s now $40-$50 but when I worked at GameStop in early-PS3 days we couldn’t get rid of them at $10 sealed in box.
Time Crisis 4 has a pretty “experimental” FPS story mode and it’s one of my favorite things!
in other news:
I kinda wish that game would’ve looked like the first half minute of its trailer.
also:
Donkey Kong Country Returns is my third favorite Wii game and I think you’re full of poop.
i really didn’t like that you had to waggle to cartwheel in DKCR, it made speedrunning feel imprecise and obnoxious. especially since cartwheeling seems to be an important traversal method, which results in spending entire runs waggling in rhythm like a monster
I found waggle to roll quite intuitive and didn’t mind. Actually, I kinda enjoyed the feel of it. And yes, I finished the game (and some, but not all of it’s super hard bonus levels). I am no speedrunner though.
When I played Tropical Freeze in Off-TV mode, it took me quite a while to get used to the GamePad controls and I ended up switching back to playing it on TV with Wiimote only.
i guess when i play any kind of platformer, i like to have a little bit more precise control when it comes to jumping and i do not like the waggling that they had originally.
that said, i’m a Star Fox Zero controls apologist, so i totally get enjoying a specific kind of “intuitive feel” despite everything
