The EZ2DJ series of arcade music games ran on Windows 98-based hardware until December of 2014, when they switched to Windows XP until the series finally ended in 2021.
Windows XP stopped being supported by Microsoft in April of 2014, and Final EX cabinets use the wacky combination of running off a Pentium 4 and game data living on an SSD

I got a promotional cd key for an upcoming big budget game called âUnknown 9: Awakeningâ when I bought my CPU. And I have never heard of this before.
My thought is how lame it must feel to work on games so hard and to make something that appears like a triple-A facsimile that would have been a big seller a decade ago, but for people to encounter it in a steam store page and just go âuhhh, never heard of this.â
