I wish I had healthcare like it was in pretty much any video game.
Twice today Iâve been reminded of Remothered one of the worst named games. The other worst name is Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
The EZ2DJ series of arcade music games ran on Windows 98-based hardware until December of 2014, when they switched to Windows XP until the series finally ended in 2021.
Windows XP stopped being supported by Microsoft in April of 2014, and Final EX cabinets use the wacky combination of running off a Pentium 4 and game data living on an SSD
I got a promotional cd key for an upcoming big budget game called âUnknown 9: Awakeningâ when I bought my CPU. And I have never heard of this before.
My thought is how lame it must feel to work on games so hard and to make something that appears like a triple-A facsimile that would have been a big seller a decade ago, but for people to encounter it in a steam store page and just go âuhhh, never heard of this.â
Maybe if they wanted people to care about it they should have changed their lorem ipsum title
Delve into the mysterious world of the Unknown 9, and uncover mysteries hidden in plain sight. You are Haroona, a Quaestor born with the ability to venture into a mysterious dimension that overlaps our own, known only as the Fold.
I think theyâll sell this game if they called it mysterious about 5 more times
edit:
Discover the Unknown 9 universe - Unknown 9: Awakening lies at the heart of intertwining stories, unfolding through a multitude of Unknown 9 products whose events and characters make up a much larger Storyworld.
hell yeah thereâs gonna be an unknown 9 cinematic universe composed of one game that does badly
Donât think Iâll even redeem this key tbh.
i totally thought this was game 9 in the Unknown series
never having heard of it is part of the mystery
tbqh youâre best off going into Unknown 9 blind. if youâve already played Unknown 1-8 then chances are you already know too much
Same goes for Return of the Obra Dinn. I always recommend skipping the first game and experiencing Return fresh.
The soldiers in Brigand: Oaxaca are the same models from Quest for Saddam and Night of Bush Capturing.
PORN
The villainâs dialogue from the giant screens in Half-Life 2. I feel like it got overlooked at the time, but his messianic utilitari-fascism now sounds like an uncanny hybrid of Peter Thiel and Sam Altman
Honestly Breen is such an incredibly important part of HL2âs subtle ambience that I hope they never make 3 now that Robert Culp has unfortunately died. It canât be done justly without him.
